Illia Koshurba was born on February 24, 1974 in Chernivtsi, Ukraine. In 1999 graduated from the Bukovynian State Medical University with a degree in Medicine. At the Danylo Halytsky Lviv National Medical University completed an internship in "Neonatology". 02/08/1999–31/07/2000: internship at the Lviv Regional Children's Clinical Hospital; 07/07/2000–02/06/2003: Chernivtsi City Clinical Maternity Hospital №1, neonatologist; 02/06/2003–15/10/2004: Chernivtsi City Clinical Maternity Hospital №1, acting head of the children's department; 15/10/2004–22/01/2019: Chernivtsi City Clinical Maternity Hospital №1, Head of the Neonatal Care Department; 22/01/2019–05/07/2020: Chernivtsi Regional Perinatal Center, Head of the Neonatal Care Department; 10/07/2016: Acting head of the neonatal intensive care unit; 05/07/2020–present: Chernivtsi Regional Perinatal Center, Medical Director of Neonatology. Head of the Chernivtsi branch of the Association of Neonatologists of Ukraine.
